Fragments of a Larger System - Sculpture 1964 - 2008
Clive Murray-White
Until September 28 Clive Murray-White is one of Australia's leading sculptors and has lived in Gippsland for many years. His work has ranged from conceptual and minimal pieces in the 1960s to the carved marble heads which have been his passion in recent years. This exhibition presents a survey of his work from his early pipe installations and legendary smoke works through to his present day marble sculptures which 'depict humanity as eroded and battered by its passage through time and the hardships of life.
