about
foundation

The Latrobe Regional Gallery has an impressive collection of contemporary Australian art in all mediums including a diverse range of historical and contemporary images and objects which record and provide insight into the Gippsland region.

The development of this collection exists largely as a consequence of the generosity of private and corporate benefactors. Such generosity complements government and Latrobe City funding of the Gallery’s operations, enabling the realisation of its mission.

Latrobe Regional Gallery Foundation has been established to allow for individual and philanthropic support to purchase works of art for the Gallery’s collection. The aim of the Foundation is to establish a substantial capital endowment to assist the Gallery with acquisitions.

Through the Foundation the community can assist in the development of a distinctive collection of art. A donation to the Foundation is a way of giving something lasting for the benefit of future generations.

There are a number of ways that you can enhance the cultural resources of the community and assist the growth of the Latrobe Regional Gallery’s collection.

Monetary Donation

A gift of cash is the easiest way to give to the Foundation. Donors are important to the sustainability of the Latrobe Regional Gallery’s outstanding collection.

All donations are tax deductible and will be issued with a tax receipt and the Latrobe Regional Gallery is endorsed as a deductible gift recipient under Subdivision 30-BA of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.

Donations can be made in instalments over three to five years at intervals that suit you. Please note: Only donations above $500 will be acknowledged on the Foundation’s Honour Board in the Membership Categories below.
