Works from the CBus Collection of Australian Art

2 July – 6 November 2011

The Cbus Collection of Australian Art comprises more than 300 works, dating from the mid 1800s to the present day. CBus is the superannuation fund for the construction and building industry and represents hundreds of thousands of workers. The fund has been investing in Australian art from the late 1980s to early 2000s.

Cosy interiors and late afternoons in private gardens, Breathing Space considers the places where we find daily respite. From walks in suburban streets to images of still life, artists include Howard Arkley, Margaret Preston, Roy de Maistre and Danila Vassilieff.
