The Cancer Council Art Award is an exhibition dedicated to people’s experiences with cancer through creative expression. This uplifting exhibition gives people the opportunity to share their stories of tragedy, loss and strength and provides hope for others affected by the disease.
The applicants have been evaluated and selected on their expression and ability to convey their cancer stories. Applicants have been encouraged to utilise various mediums to best portray their experience such as visual art, film, poetry and short stories. This exhibition has been judged by respected artists and arts industry specialists.
