Kim McDonald’s mixed media works portray her exploration of the human body. She focuses on the liminal zone where the interior meets the exterior.
As a visual artist she is interested in how she is able to facilitate a heightened awareness of bodily sensation, the location of the self and the affect this has on visual perception.
