Kees Hos: Seventy Years of Art Practice

Throughout his extensive career as artist and teacher in the Netherlands, New Zealand and Australia, Kees Hos drew continual inspiration for his work from the figure, landscape and the accidental gesture. This exhibition of prints, drawings and paintings presents a broad overview of this influential artist’s work. Hos moved to Gippsland in 1971 to become Head of the School of Art and Design at the Gippsland Institute of Advanced Education (now Monash University), a position he held for ten years.
