Pat Waters explores the dynamics of landscape through expressive gestural marks, textured paint, bold colour and delicately inscribed lines. Her paintings evoke the atmosphere of a variety of landscapes and express the dichotomies of nature which can be both pleasant and destructive. Her bold energetic marks reference rugged terrain, trees and fluid mountain lines.
