Ross Pickard
Impressions
International Power Hazelwood Community Access Gallery
4 December 2010 – 16 January 2011
Ross Pickard looks for beauty in the Australian landscape. Following in the footsteps of 19th century Impressionist painters, Pickard seeks to ‘capture the moment’ of his surrounds with immediacy of paint and freshness of colour. His fleeting impressions reveal glimpses of his personal perceptions of landscape. Impressions portrays Pickard’s passion and enjoyment of 40 years of drawing and painting.
Proceeds from the sale of works will go to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
