We Feel ...

Schools' Exhibition

Latrobe Regional gallery is proud to exhibit artworks created by 380 Latrobe Valley school children, as part of the We Feel Creative Gippsland May Festival installation.

Students from Maryvale Crescent and St Paul's Anglican Grammar Traralgon pre-schools and Hazelwood North, Moe South Street, Moe Elizabeth Street, Yinnar, Tyers and St Vincent's primary schools recently participated in in-school workshops with the Latrobe Regional Gallery's Education Officer.

The students were asked to think about and express their emotions in colour and words using watercolour and crayon. Students then visited to gallery to see their work and share their achievement with their parents and teachers. The exhibition is an explosion of colour, imagination and self expression that is both delightful and thought provoking.
