Expressing emotion through photography

Photographs by children from Lumen Christi’s Camera Club

This exhibition celebrates the work of Lumen Christi Primary School’s Camera Club, Churchill. The budding young photographers, ranging from grade three to six took photos both at home and at school under the guidance of photographer Neale Stratford, Monash University, Gippsland Campus. The group used their photographs to identify and express emotion.

The Camera Club formed after the school secured a $3000 grant through School- Focused Youth Services –a State Government service aimed at supporting collaborative structures to keep students-at-risk engaged.
