“The Arts are unique, expressive, creative and communicative forms that engage students in critical and creative thinking and help them to understand themselves and the world.”
(VCAA Dec 2005 – VELS The Arts Domain – Revised Edition)

Latrobe Regional Gallery is a highly successful provider of valid and meaningful arts activities for all ages. In our commitment to providing quality education within the arts we have developed a range of innovative educational programs to meet the personal, professional and academic needs of people across a variety of learning levels.

The education programs developed by Latrobe Regional Gallery have been designed to assist students and teachers in their enjoyment and understanding of the arts. These programs have been designed to be used in conjunction with the exhibitions displayed at Latrobe Regional Gallery. These programs lend themselves to the exploration of many curriculum-relevant themes for pre-primary, primary, secondary, VCE and University.
