CREATIVE EDGE
6 WEEK YOUTH PROGRAM

TINKERED TALES
The Creative Edge program is designed for youth aged 13-17 years to encourage development and expansion of artistic skills in a creative atmosphere.

Participants will view the Artisan travelling exhibition Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor: 100 Women, 100 Brooches, 100 Stories as inspiration for the development and creation of a series of personal brooches depicting significant people in their lives.

Most materials are supplied; participants are encouraged to bring along sketches, ideas and found objects to later sessions.

$75 or $65 Gallery Friends Member

DRAWN TOGETHER
6 WEEK YOUTH/ADULT PROGRAM
26 February - 2 April 5.30-7.30pm

BOUND
The Drawn Together program is an opportunity for youth and adults to refine existing art skills and explore new areas in a relaxed atmosphere.

Bound will explore elements of paper craft including differences in the varieties of bought and hand made paper, traditional and contemporary bookbinding techniques and finishing details such as bookplates to develop a beautiful hand bound art journal in this progressive 6 week program.

Most materials are supplied; participants are encouraged to bring along paper, fabric, and embellishments to later sessions.

$75 or $65 Gallery Friends Member

MASTERCLASS
DAY YOUTH/ADULT WORKSHOP
Saturday 15 March 11.00am-4.00pm

TINKERED BROOCHES
The Masterclass program is designed to allow participants the opportunity to explore techniques and styles in a formal atmosphere.

Participants will view the exhibition Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor: 100 Women, 100 Brooches, 100 Stories before enjoying an intensive brooch making workshop utilising a variety of traditional materials and found objects.

Participants are encouraged to bring along sketches and found objects they would like to develop into an artwork.

All materials will be supplied. Light refreshments will be provided, however participants are encouraged to bring or purchase their own lunch.

$60 or $50 Gallery Friends Member

OPEN STUDIO - GALLERY WORKSHOP
YOUTH/ADULT PROGRAM
Every Monday (Excluding public holidays) 10.00am-1.00pm

We will be opening our workshop space for free on Monday mornings from 10.00am until 1.00pm to local artists who would like a space to create, exchange ideas and socialise with others. Please bring all your own materials.

Tailored tours and workshops can be developed to suit the needs of your group. Please allow at least two weeks notice when making your enquiry. Costs for these programs will vary depending on resources utilised.
