Adult Workshops

Untutored Life DrawingUntutored Life Drawing

20 July - 14 September (Tuesdays 5.30pm - 7.30pm)

9 Week Program

This program is an opportunity for participants to engage with other artists and improve their drawing and observation skills in a relaxed atmosphere. Drawing easels, boards, clips and light refreshments are included. Participants are required to provide their own materials including paper, charcoal, pencils, ink, and so forth.

 

Tutored Life DrawingTutored Life Drawing

VCE and Adult

9 August - 13 September (Mondays 5.30pm - 7.30pm)

6 Week Program

This program is designed for the beginner or those needing guidance with rendering of the human form. The traditional practice of life drawing will assist people to develop and improve their studio folio. An experienced tutor will assist participants with their approach to representing the figure. Drawing easels, boards, clips and light refreshments are included. Participants are required to bring cartridge paper or pad, 2 charcoal sticks (thick and thin), and kneadable eraser to the first session. Further material requirements will be discussed with the tutor.

$140 or $130 Gallery Friends Member
Places are limited. Bookings essential.

 

 

Children & Teen Workshops

Art After SchoolArt After School

22 July - 16 September (Thursday's 4:30pm - 6:00pm)
9 Week Program

The Art After School program is designed for children aged 7 to 12. It encourages development and expansion of creative skills in a relaxed atmosphere. The aim of this nine week program is to allow participants to explore art mediums with the aim of producing an original work at the end of the nine weeks. All materials supplied. An adult is required to walk the child in and out of the Gallery.

$100 or $90 for Friends Members

 


Creative EdgeCreative Edge

21 July - 15 September (Wednesday's 5:00pm - 6:30pm)

9 Week Program

Creative Edge Workshops are designed for teens aged 13 to 15. They encourage expansion of creative skills in a relaxed atmosphere. The aim of the nine week program is to allow participants to explore a number of mediums to create original works. Most materials are supplied; participants are encouraged to bring along found objects and ideas in the form of sketches to later sessions.

$100 or $90 for Friends Members
